This can easily be my favourite meal, I eat it at least once a week because it is so incredibly easy to put together, while packed with bold flavours. If you are a lover of fresh ginger, beef, kimchi and honey - this is a recipe you are going to want to save and try asap! This is a one pan recipe with minimal prep involved.
What You'll Need:
1lb Lean Ground Beef (could work well with chicken as well)
1-3 stocks of green onion (use as many or as little as youd like)
3 tbsp finely chopped ginger root (or bigger chunks like I did!)
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tbsp coconut aminos (substitute for soy sauce)
2 tbsp honey
1/2 cup kimchi
Everything Bagel Seasoning (if you dont have this on hand, simply use Salt, Pepper, Garlic seasoning, Onion Powder and Sesame Seeds/ season to your liking)
1 tbsp Avocado Oil
Directions:
On a pan with medium high heat, sautee your garlic and ginger in avocado oil until aromatic (2-3 minutes) and slightly browned.
Add in your beef and gradually add in your seasonings alongside honey and coconut aminos, and chopped green onion.
Add in your kimchi for the last 1-3 minutes of cooking.
Pair with white rice, broccoli and extra honey on top and you have yourself a well rounded, tasty meal that gets better as it sits in the fridge!
